The Workboat WRH485 is a professional-grade beast engineered to SOLAS MED equivalent standards.

The hull is a fully planing and very deep-V shape hull, also provided with spray rails and a reverse chine.

All these features are provided to give an optimum seakeeping ability at all speeds in all sea conditions. The glass fibre reinforced hull is the foundation of the rigid inflatable boat and is designed and fabricated at strict specifications, this hull is constructed with extra reinforcements in the keel. The hulls are constructed from a fire retardant polyester resin reinforced with a balanced number of layers from different types of glass fibre and woven roving. The hull is very strong and well balanced. The chambers between the outside hull and deck are provided with buoyancy foam. The hull is constructed as one piece, the hull and deck are acting as one piece to withstand the forces. The fast rescue boat is self-bailing as the floor of the boat sits higher than water level, even while the boat is not running at speed.

The buoyancy tube is made of ORCA Neoprene-Hypalon fabric: Polyester High Tenacity 1670 dtex.

This fabric meets the highest level of weather proof, chemical and abrasion resistance. The tube is constructed in 5 chambers, each chamber easy to inflate and deflate using its own valves. The tube is fabricated with the highest accuracy to ensure a perfect seal preventing any leaks. The sides are provided with a neoprene rubbing strake on both sides and the bow is provided with a bow protection. Both sides of the tube are provided with lifelines.
