Workribs Mounted on Ships
When it comes to mounting a RIB on a ship, Workribs is the right partner.

Inboard Engines in Workribs
When installing inboard engines in RIBs, especially large diesel engines with high torque and large displacement, it is essential that they are mounted correctly and positioned close to the center of gravity.
Most manufacturers place these engines directly at the stern, without ensuring proper alignment of the shaft. We ensure that the engine is securely and strongly mounted on specially designed frames that are integrated into the hull’s frame, with a perfectly aligned shaft leading to the stern drive.
By placing the engine in the center of the hull, or mounting two engines close together and near the center of gravity, the weight distribution—and thus the maneuverability—are optimized.
Lamination Plan and Composite Quality of Workribs
The construction of all Workribs hulls begins with a well-developed lamination plan.
This plan is designed to optimize the strength, weight, and durability of the RIB. The standard series of Workribs is designed for general use and built to last over 20 years under all conditions. Custom-made Workribs are specifically tailored to the task and requirements of the customer. All finished RIBs are delivered with the actual lamination plan and an overview of the materials used. This allows us to make our quality measurable.
